💡 DM 374 Sec. 4: If the subject has no Lesson Exemplar, do not use the LIL — prepare an ILAW lesson plan instead, with the BOW as the reference for Intentions.

What is the Lesson Implementation Log (LIL)?

The Lesson Implementation Log is the official instructional planning and implementation document of the Schools Division of Agusan del Sur, adopted through Division Memorandum No. 374, s. 2026 pursuant to DepEd Order No. 012 and 010, s. 2024 (MATATAG Curriculum) and DepEd Order No. 016, s. 2026 (Guidelines on Lesson Planning and Learning Design). It takes effect in all public elementary and secondary schools of the division beginning School Year 2026–2027.

The LIL keeps the four components of the ILAW Framework — Intentions (I), Learning Experience (L), Assessing Learning (A), and Ways Forward (W) — but it is designed to reduce paperwork. Instead of rewriting lesson procedures, activities, and assessment tasks already in official learning exemplars, teachers reference the resource used and document what actually happened in class.

How the LIL is accomplished (Enclosure 01, Section IV)

A. Intentions (I) — before the instructional week

B. Learning Experience (L) — per session

Indicate the learning exemplar or instructional material used, with the title/resource, page number(s), and activity number(s) — for example, GBF Class Builder – Module 2, pp. 15–18, Activity 2.1 or LRMDS Module, p. 24, Activity 3.

C. Assessing Learning (A) — per session

Indicate the formative assessment administered: oral questioning, exit ticket, worksheet, quiz, performance task, observation, authentic assessment. Detailed procedures need not be rewritten when already in the exemplar.

D. Ways Forward (W) — after every session

Record the instructional decision for the next lesson based on learner performance: Proceed as planned, Reteach, Remediation, Enrichment, Modify the next lesson, or other instructional adjustments. This is the teacher’s daily instructional reflection.

Key rules from DM No. 374, s. 2026

  1. The LIL is prepared before the start of the instructional week (Intentions) and completed per session (L, A, W).
  2. Teachers are not required to rewrite detailed lesson procedures already in official learning exemplars.
  3. If a subject has no Lesson Exemplar, the teacher does not log; they prepare a lesson plan following the ILAW Framework, with the Budget of Work (BOW) as the primary reference for Intentions.
  4. Only materials in the teacher’s printed or digital compilation may be referenced in the LIL.
  5. Mathematics teachers using GBF Class Builder through registered accounts shall maximize its materials and need not duplicate presentations, worksheets, or formative assessments the platform already provides.
  6. Commercially prepared lesson plans as the primary resource are discouraged; all materials must be contextualized to learners.
  7. The LIL is an instructional tool, not a compliance document. Submission is only required for classroom observation, instructional supervision, coaching, mentoring, LAC, technical assistance, demonstration teaching, and similar purposes.
  8. Lesson planning is evaluated on curriculum alignment, quality of instruction, learner engagement, assessment practices, responsiveness, and reflective practice — not on the length or format of the document.

How to use this generator

  1. Enter your school, grade level, learning area, term, week, and (optionally) the Monday date so Day/Date fill automatically.
  2. Paste the exact learning competency from your Budget of Work.
  3. List the official resources in your compilation with page ranges (e.g., GMRC 3 LE pp. 1–12). The AI spreads these across the days.
  4. Generate, then verify every page and activity number against your actual compilation.
  5. Download the landscape Word file. Fill the yellow Reflection rows after each session and update Ways Forward based on learner performance.

As a Creative Technology teacher, it's often difficult to find ready-made teaching resources that match our subjects and competencies. I used to spend countless hours creating lesson plans and instructional materials from scratch because very few resources were available. This website has been a huge helpβ€”it has saved me so much time and effort. Instead of staying up late preparing documents, I can now focus on what truly matters: delivering engaging lessons and helping my students learn. I’m genuinely grateful for this platform. New teachers, especially those teaching specialized subjects like Creative Technology, are fortunate to have a resource like this.
